If you are wondering "Are pulls, fluff and loose threads a fault?", they are usually normal characteristics of woven textiles. Many things that look like damage are actually normal.
Normal traits, not faults
Pulls: Some pulls are threads that are raised out of the weave. This is very common and often caused by jewelry, zippers, or pets. It does not weaken the fabric and can usually be massaged back into the weave with your fingers.
Fluff clouds: Small fuzzy patches, mostly on cotton and linen blends. These soften and go away with washing and use.
Weaver's knots: Small knots where a thread was joined during production. These are normal for woven textiles.
Weaving variation: Small differences in color, pattern, or thickness between two pieces of the same design. No two woven pieces are exactly the same.
