There's a fault on a carrier I bought through Try Before You Buy (TBYB)

This is about a carrier you bought at the end of a Try Before You Buy trial and have since found a fault on. Once you've bought it, it's treated like any other carrier you own.

If the carrier is under six months old

We'll open a manufacturer claim with the maker, the same as for any purchase. Send us clear photos of the problem and we'll tell you what the maker says. We aim to come back to you within a few business days.

Faults we'd expect to claim on: broken buckles or hardware, a torn seam, a snapped strap, or a part missing that should have been included.

If it's older than six months

Send us the photos anyway. Older items are looked at individually rather than under a standard claim, and we'll be honest with you about what's likely.

If it was sold to you with a known issue

Some carriers are sold at the end of a trial with a flaw already noted: a small mark, a missing non-essential part. Where that was documented at the time of sale we're happy to help you source a replacement part if one exists.
